CITY OF TRACY ISSUES RESTAURANT & RETAIL SURVEY FOR RESIDENT INPUT ON SHOPPING, DINING, AND ENTERTAINMENT PREFERENCES

Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy is excited to announce the launch of its 2023 Restaurant & Retail Survey. The survey aims to gather valuable insights from the community, such as dining, shopping, and entertainment preferences, to help guide the City’s business attraction and expansion efforts.

In 2013, the City released its first retail survey, which received more than 1,200 responses. Subsequent surveys were released in 2016 and 2019, all of which provided valuable feedback that led to the attraction of new restaurants, retail shops, and hotels, such as BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Hobby Lobby, Burlington Coat Factory, and Marriott hotels. The City is poised to continue this momentum by using the 2023 survey data to support its efforts to attract the retailers, restaurants, and entertainment uses most desired by the Tracy community.

“By participating in the survey, residents will have a direct impact on our community’s future by shaping the growth of our restaurant and retail sectors,” said Adriana Castaneda, Mobility & Housing Director. “Together, we can cultivate a business environment that reflects the needs and desires of our diverse community.”

Participating in the Restaurant & Retail Survey is quick and easy. The survey can be accessed online by visiting Tinyurl.com/TracyRetailSurvey. It will also be linked on the City of Tracy’s website and Economic Development website. To ensure widespread engagement, the survey link will be featured across the City’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, Twitter and LinkedIn, and via the City newsletter. Additionally, community members can tune in to Comcast Channel 26 and AT&T U-verse Ch. 99, the City’s educational and governmental access channel, to scan a QR code that will link directly to the survey.
