Support Tracy

What happens when you Shop Inside the Triangle?

  • You help create and sustain local jobs. Local businesses hire local employees and purchase locally-sourced products, strengthening the local economy.
  • Your money stays in the local community. The money you spend locally is recirculated into the local economy; out of every dollar you spend in Tracy, 1.5 cents funds local programs and services.
  • You help small businesses stay in business. Small businesses have been particularly affected by the pandemic. By shopping local, you help support businesses that are working hard to stay open.
  • You improve your quality of life and your neighbor’s. Shopping locally strengthens the economy, builds funds for local services, creates jobs & more—all of which help improve your community’s overall quality of life.

Support Tracy

The City of Tracy, in collaboration with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, Tracy City Center Association and several local small businesses have partnered to launch a new Shop Local marketing campaign designed to support local businesses. The campaign aims to capture local spending in Tracy by creating a user-friendly digital business directory, and promoting Shop Local messaging through window decals, social media, newsletters, radio, and video advertisements.

Small business owners are encouraged to pick-up and post the “Support Tracy” window decal in their storefront window to encourage customers to shop locally. The decals can be requested from one of the following sources:
