City of Tracy Seeks Resident Feedback on Retail Preference and Purchasing Behavior

Tracy, Calif. –In an effort to stay up-to-date on Tracy residents’ retail preference and purchasing behavior, the City of Tracy has released the 2016 Retail Survey. The short, four-question survey aims to learn what types of products and services Tracy residents purchase locally, outside of the City, and what product categories are purchased online. The survey also seeks information on what factors are most important to Tracy residents when making a purchasing decision.

“In 2013, the City released its first retail survey, which received more than 1,200 responses. Residents provided so much valuable feedback that we were able to successfully attract several new restaurants to Tracy,” stated Shelley Burcham, Economic Development Manager for the City of Tracy. “We are hoping to keep the momentum going and use the 2016 survey data to further support our retail recruitment efforts in attracting the retailers most desired by the Tracy community.”

Tracy residents can access the brief, four-question survey by visiting the City of Tracy’s website www.ThinkInsideTheTriangle.com, directly at http://bit.ly/2edNqdi,  and through the City of Tracy’s Facebook page. The survey will be available until November 2, 2016.
