Tracy Mayor Robert Rickman to Deliver 2018 State of the City Address

The City of Tracy, in partnership with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present the annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, located at 715 Central Avenue in Downtown Tracy.

The event theme, Tracy Pride, will be incorporated into Mayor Rickman’s second State of the City Address. During his presentation, the Mayor will highlight the City’s accomplishments in 2017, and his vision for Tracy’s future.
The future of Tracy is looking very bright, and this is something our community should be  proud of,” stated Tracy Mayor, Robert Rickman. “Having a long-term vision and a proactive and aggressive approach to the way we do business has contributed to Tracy’s success. I look forward to highlighting our achievements at the State of the City Address.”
The Tracy Chamber takes pride in partnering with the City of Tracy to continue offering programs and services that create a thriving business community. I invite business owners to attend the upcoming State of the City address to have a better understanding of how Tracy continues to grow and support our businesses,” stated Sofia Valenzuela, CEO of the Tracy Chamber of Commerce.
Following the Mayor’s State of the City Address, economist John W. Mitchell will present an economic forecast for 2018. Dr. Mitchell delivers economic presentations at conventions and business groups around the nation. He once served as an economy professor at Boise State University before working in the financial sector up until 2007.
Tickets to the State of the City are $25. Interested individuals may purchase tickets on-line at www.atthegrand.org or at the Grand Theatre Box Office and Tracy Chamber of Commerce office. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast and networking opportunities, the program will begin at 9:30 a.m. This event is geared toward the local and regional business community; however, the general public is welcome to attend.  For more information and tickets, please call the Tracy Chamber at (209) 835-2131.
