What's in it for me if I attend?

  • Participation helps ensure the City develops economic recovery programs that you support

What do you want to gather from me?

  • The goal is to build consensus around programs with the highest level of business community and resident support

How will my voice/opinion be shared to Council?

  • Results of the workshop will be shared with the Council via a presentation by Economic Development staff and its consultant, National Development Council

Who will ultimately decide where the money goes?

  • The Council will make the final funding allocation determination

The workshops will be a major step towards ARPA funding allocation for economic development. The City is currently conducting phase 1 of the allocation via a business community survey. Preliminary results and programs will be introduced at the workshops for stakeholder input. The outcome will inform staff’s recommendations for ARPA funding allocation to City Council planned for January 2022.
