City of Tracy Issues Retail Survey to Gather Resident Input on Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment Preferences
16 Dec 2019
Tracy, Calif. – In an effort to stay up-to-date on Tracy residents’ retail preference and purchasing behavior, the City of Tracy has released the 2019 Retail Survey. The survey aims to gather what types of products and services Tracy residents purchase locally and outside of the City, and what product categories are purchased online. The survey also seeks information on factors that are most important to Tracy residents when making a purchasing decision.
“In 2013, the City released its first retail survey, which received more than 1,200 responses. A follow- up survey was released in 2016. Residents provided so much valuable feedback that we were able to successfully attract several new restaurants and hotel chains to Tracy,” stated Barbara Harb, Economic Development Management Analyst for the City of Tracy. “We are hoping to keep the momentum going and use the 2019 survey data to further support our efforts to attract new businesses to Tracy that will provide exciting retail and entertainment experiences our community will enjoy.”
Tracy residents can access this brief survey by visiting the City of Tracy’s Economic Development website at www.ThinkInsideTheTriangle.com. Links to the survey will also be posted to the City’s social media sites including: Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The survey will be available until January 13, 2020.
Questions regarding the survey can be directed to Vanessa Carrera, Economic Development Management Analyst, at email@example.com.
