As the designated State agency for employment services, the Employment Development Department (EDD) is the nation’s largest employment agency. The EDD is host of the California Job Openings Browse System (CalJOBS), a sophisticated, internet-based job listing and self referral system. Employers have a convenient option to enter job openings and search for qualified applicants either on their own or through the servicers of EDD staff.

EDD also assists with recruitment, screening for eligibility and referral, interviewing and testing accommodations, disability and unemployment insurance, family leave program and more, on a no fee basis.
